Marketing Coordinator – Dallas, TX 

Job Description

Team Worldwide is invested in the marketing support of our corporate office and branch offices across North America, and is seeking to add a marketing coordinator to our team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic about implementing new projects; curious to reach out and learn from our staff to increase their knowledge of the industry.

Position Overview

Marketing promotes brand awareness, generates new business, and communicates with our clients on solutions we provide. The Marketing Department’s main clients are Team’s branch offices. Focused on the strategy put in place by corporate, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with owners and sales staff to create content, as well as implement and track effective marketing programs that connect Team Worldwide to leads and clients in our industry. As part of a small team, this position will have an opportunity to learn and get involved in all marketing channels including .com, advertising, public relations, social media, email campaigns, research, and more.

Responsibilities

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will:

  • Serve as primary liaison to our branch employees to create personalized content, including slicks, brochures, postcards, emails and social media posts.
  • Oversee the content, editing, and production of all promotional collateral.
  • Write content and manage approval for both national and market specific emails.
  • Support the social media strategy, including channel + content strategy to create brand awareness.
  • Manage social media exposure, including LinkedIn, collaborate with branch staff to develop storytelling posts, as well as ongoing community management.
  • Create and post content for internal communication channels, highlighting employee announcements, industry news and posts that will inspire employees.
  • Analyze channel performance insights to determine which channel levers to pull in order to maximize campaign revenue potential.
  • Manage holiday cards and annual calendar distribution.
  • Assist with customer-facing projects, including sales presentations, quarterly business reviews, and RFPs.
  • Work closely with our premium vendor to add new and unique items to our company store.
  • Play a key role in the logistics and communication surrounding Team Worldwide’s annual Global Conference.
  • Support the initial launch and communications for new branch offices as our network grows.
  • Explore product marketing ideation and development to bring added value to our product portfolio.
  • Deliver projects and services on time, within budget, and within agreed-upon scope.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in full Microsoft Suite, especially Microsoft Word
  • Strong communicator
  • Self-starter; able to work independently on creative projects
  • Highly organized multi-tasker; able to manage time and project load efficiently
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and/or agency roles, focused on multi-channel marketing, including email, social media, and public relations
  • Experience with Constant Contact, Marketo, and Pardot
  • Polished verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to interface effectively with branch owners
  • Knowledge of creating email drip campaigns preferred
  • Working knowledge of HTML or design is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, journalism, communications, or other related field
  • Logistics industry knowledge is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Requirements:

  • Lead Generation – Highly motivated and self-driven. Works independently to identify, develop and enhance sales opportunities in assigned territories. Generates and manages a detailed sales pipeline via CRM from prospect origination to valued long-term customer. Adept in developing a database of qualified leads through referrals, cold calls, business meetings, email, and networking.
  • Lead Development- Demonstrates in-depth industry knowledge with the ability to identify, anticipate, understand and respond to customer needs promptly. Utilize information to make relevant recommendations to win, maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • Revenue Generation- Manage a profitable book of business with a personal drive to exceed set Revenue expectations monthly. Acts instinctively to achieve objectives without direct supervision.
  •  Customer Focus- Effectively manages urgent customer and management requests in a timely manner. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers with a focus on relationship building and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years International and Domestic logistics and cargo transportation sales experience required
  • Outside business-to-business sales experience highly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  •  Must be willing to travel as required by the customer and corporate need.
  •  Some after hours or weekend work as required by customer demands and/or seasonality typical to transportation
